Meet Maira
Hi, I’m Maira, the artist behind every piece you see here.
Creativity has always been an essential part of who I am. I have always been drawn to beautiful details, meaningful objects, and the feeling that thoughtfully designed pieces bring into a space.
With a background in Sociology and Communication, followed by a Master’s in Interior Design from the Florence Design Academy in Italy, my journey has always blended design, craftsmanship, and a deep appreciation for meaningful spaces.
In 2012, I launched my first creative business, crafting accessories, furniture, and interior décor pieces using a unique mix of decoupage and hand painting.
My work has always been rooted in the joy of creating with my hands, something I inherited from my mother and carry with me in every piece I make.
After taking a short break to welcome my daughter, I returned in 2024 with a renewed artistic focus and deeper intention.
This new chapter centers on transforming natural elements into refined, one of a kind art pieces. It began with shells, beautifully formed by nature and sourced from Cyprus. Each one is thoughtfully selected and elevated through decoupage, delicate hand painting, and hand sculpted embellishments.
No two pieces are ever the same.Every item is crafted slowly and intentionally. I do not mass produce. I believe in honoring the process, allowing each piece to evolve naturally.
When you bring one into your home, you are choosing something created with care, heritage, and heart.
Today, as a mother of a son and a daughter, I pour my passion, creativity, and story into everything I create.
